Angelika is Austrian and is fully bilingual in German and Italian; she primarily assists the firm’s German speaking clients. She has matured significant experience in insurance and finance where she provides assistance to major International and domestic insurance companies and banks operating in Italy.
Her insurance experience includes the drafting of distribution contracts and pre-contractual and contractual agreements required for compliance with ISVAP regulations for life and non-life products. Angelika assists clients in all compliance activities and in relations with regulatory authorities. Likewise, she has successfully defended insurance companies and intermediaries in ISVAP sanction proceedings, and as a result avoided the levying of substantial pecuniary fines.She is often involved in M&A transactions and participates in due diligence activities particularly when our clients are insurance companies acquiring Italian businesses.
She is the appointed Lawyer of Confidence at the Austrian Embassy at the Holy See.
