Puopolo Geffers Iacobelli & Partners (hereinafter "PGI") is a law practice with main offices in Milan and Rome specializing in international corporate and commercial transactions, with a focus on the energy business sector.
PGI is among the very few specialized Italian firms representing corporations involved in the development, construction and financing of renewable energy plants from green field to the acquisition of companies owning projects in the final stage implementation.
The Energy Team was established in 1996 when PGI represented the world leader wind turbine manufacturer in one of the very first acquisitions of an Italian wind turbine producer and in further investments in wind parks in Southern Italy. At that time, there were only few renewable energy scenery has developed and other alternative energy sources, mainly solar and PV energy, have become particularly popular in our country. As a consequence of the expanded significantly and it now includes 2 partners and4 senior associates and 4 assistants advising Italian and foreign companies involved in all sectors of renewable energy.
