IVASS has confirmed that the DORA Register of Information must be submitted through Infostat and has set 31 March 2026 as the filing deadline for the relevant reporting activities. The deadline is restated both in the March operational notice and in the broader 2026 letter to the market. The reporting obligation applies to insurance and reinsurance undertakings with registered office in Italy, Italian Branch Managers of third-country insurers and reinsurers, and intermediaries required to report.
For foreign groups which operate in the Italian market, such obligation should be carefully monitored. The Italian filing perimeter may capture local branches or representatives even where ICT outsourcing governance is managed at group level outside Italy. Early alignment between local compliance, IT, outsourcing and legal teams remains essential to ensure that the register is complete and consistent with DORA governance arrangements.
