On March 29, IVASS published on its website an announcement containing updates regarding the new RUI portal, which will come into effect on June 4th.
Intermediaries and insurance companies will be able to update the RUI by themselves, in particular:
- intermediaries will be able to submit the enrolment in RUI or the enrolment of their collaborators, to cancel their registration or move from a section to another of the RUI, to amend the personal data, and to provide all the other communications set up by Regulation IVASS No. 40/2018;
- insurance companies will be able to enrol in RUI the list of brokers they collaborate with and/or have signed distribution agreements, update the list of insurance producers, and also indicate the distribution manager.
For this purpose, IVASS invites intermediaries and insurance companies to submit all requests and communications by April 30th, since starting from this date it will no longer be possible to submit communication until the new portal opens.
IVASS has also indicated all the PEC addresses that, following the entry into force of the new RUI, will be deactivated.
